Uniform Requirements

We asks all students to please wear the proper dance attire to class. No jeans will be permitted for any class. Your hair should be pulled back and away from the face. No jewelry or gum chewing is permitted during class for safety reasons.

Durning the summer, the dress code for all virtual dance class will be slightly different from our regular classroom dress requirements. Leotards of any color, dance tights or leggings is acceptable for modern and African only. Ballet and jazz students must wear the proper shoes for those classes. For example, for ballet you must wear ballet shoes, and for jazz you must wear jazz shoes no bare-feet. For adults who sign-up for Abigail Moves, you can wear any loose fitted clothes.

Pre-Prima Ballet  

  • Leotard: Any color leotard 

  • Tights: Pink convertible tights  

  • Skirt: Any color wrap ballet skirt 

  • Shoes: Pink leather full-sole leather ballet shoes

  • Hair: Ponytail, bun or pull back off the face (required)

 Ballet Fundamentals  1 & 2

  • Leotard: Black leotard short sleeves 

  • Tights: Pink convertible tights  

  • Shoes: Pink leather full-sole ballet shoes

  • Hair: Ponytail, bun or pull back off the face (required)

 Ballet 1 &2

  • Leotard: Black leotard any style 

  • Tights: Ballet pink convertible tights 

  • Shoes: Pink leather or Pink canvas full-sole ballet shoes 

  • Hair: Ponytail, bun or pull back off the face (required)

 

Modern I & II

  • Leotard: Any color leotard

  • Tights: Black convertible tights or Black leggings

  • Shoes: Bare-feet 

  • Hair: Ponytail, bun or pull back off the face (required)

 

 

Beginner/Intermediate Jazz 

  • Leotard: Any color leotard

  • Black jazz pants 

  • Shoes: Jazz black boots, bare-feet, 

  • Hair: Ponytail, bun or pull back off the face (required)

African Dance

  • Comfortable loose clothing 

  • Shoes: Bare-feet

  • African Lapa skirt optional
